Welcome » Celebrate Recovery
Starting over at New Paradigm…a chance to get REAL! Lesson One: Step out of denial!
CELEBRATE RECOVERY MINISTRY: A Christ-centered recovery program that deals with all habits, hurts and hang-ups. This Bible-based 12-step program is designed to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives with the 8 recovery principles found in the Beatitudes. This experience allows us to be changed.
By learning and applying these principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free of our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. The Bible clearly states that we “have all sinned.” It is in our nature to sin. None of us is untainted. Because of our sin, we’ve all hurt ourselves, we’ve hurt others, and others have hurt us. This means we all need repentance and recovery in order to live our lives the way God intended.
You have probably heard that “time heals all wounds.” Unfortunately it isn’t true. Some people still carry around hurts from 30 or 40 years ago. Time may make the wounds worse as they fester and spread infection throughout your entire body. To be healed, you need to deal with the problem.
Through Celebrate Recovery, wounds are healed, lives are transformed, and the Holy Spirit helps people to grow toward full Christ-like maturity. Join us each Friday evening from 7 – 9pm as we grow together. No cost to attend.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY: Eight Recovery Principles based on the BEATITUDES by Pastor Rick Warren
- R = Realize I'm not God;
I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and my life is unmanageable.
"Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor" - E = Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to him, and that he has the power to help me recover.
"Happy are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" - C = Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ's care and control.
"Happy are the meek" - O = Openly examine and confess my faults to God, to myself, and to someone I trust.
"Happy are the pure in heart" - V = Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life
and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.
"Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires" - E = Evaluate all my relationships;
Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I've done to others except when to do so would harm them or others.
"Happy are the merciful" "Happy are the peacemakers" - R = Reserve a daily time with God for self examination, Bible readings and prayer
in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.
- Y = Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.
"Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires"
